To qualify for free or reduced price meals in DC, the AGI for a family of 4 cannot exceed $45,435 a year.

So OP 1/3 of families at your school make no more than this each year.

This but the problem is there are way more at risk kids in DC than stable kids to offset their inclusion. High FARMs is just a way of life in DC esp outside of the few elementary in ward 3 that have always resisted taking their fair share.
