Move from the UK to Washington DC

Northern Virginia has a bunch of modest sized water parks that cost about 7 dollars to get into. We live in dc and drive out to them at least once or twice a summer

Six flags is a massive undertaking and very $$$ -- and really geared at older kids and teenagers

In MoCo (Silver Spring) there is the MLK public pool with a lazy river and some other things.
