Things to do with a seven year old at Colonial Williamsburg

Ditto watching the parade that happens at like 4 pm or so. My child loved watching the blacksmith, silversmith, wheel maker, etc, and also loved the apothecary shop.

Never too early for a tour of William and Mary!

I grew up in Williamsburg and my favorites to take friends with kids were:
Governor's Palace Maze
Fife and Drum Corp performance (shooting of the cannons)
Jamestown - explore the ship that brought the settlers and the glass blowing shop
Getting molasses cookies at the bakery
Ferry to Surry

Thanks. We are driving down tomorrow and planning to do most of the day at Colonial Williamsburg. The rest of the weekend will be at Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.

We just got back. It was blisteringly hot. No one wanted to tour anything. Be sure to go when it isn't steamy hot and humid
