cooking and freezing brown rice

I cook batches of rice and freeze them in plastic wraps/bags all the time. Works out well.

Do you cover it, and how?


Yes, I cover it. I use a small Corning Ware dish with the lid it came with. I have some other Corning Ware dishes called "Grab Its" that are round and don't have lids, so when I use one of those, I just use a regular saucer or bread plate as a lid.


Thank you. I tried this last night and it worked well. I wasn't sure how tightly it would need to be covered in order to replicate the bag situation, but just putting a plate on top of a glass bowl worked fine.
