When I hear this song, I think of a time in my 20s when I was dating a very pretty woman from NYC. We got along like oil and water, except in one way. We were one, but we were not the same.

When I hear this song now, I think of my life with DW of nearly 20 years. We get along like coffee and creamer, except in one way. We are one, but we are not the same. We hurt each other, then we do it again.
