Chick Fil A Salads

I have honestly never tried their salads (nugget addict here), but you’ve inspired me. I love Cobb salads, so I will give theirs a try.

I never go to Chick Fil A (kids don't like it) and it never occurred to me to get a salad there, but now I'm intrigued.

The salads are good--but,nothing compares to the sandwich with sauce.

Unrelated question, for its price, where would you go: Chick Fil A or a salad joint like Sweet Greent/Chop't. Or is this really an apples and oranges comparison.

Does anyone know if you can get a Chick Fil A salad in the morning before they start serving lunch?

I keep meaning to ask when I'm there but forget each time.

My kid loves their salads and it would be great to just grab one and toss it in her lunchbox to take to camp. Right now she does prepared Wegmans salads and also those little prepackaged bowls that you find at Wegmans and Harris Teeter (forget the brand).

Yes! I've had one as early as about 9:30am.

Also, you can customize the chicken on any of the salads. My mom can’t have the fried chicken on the Cobb salad so we ask for grilled.

Has anyone been in the last few days? Was the southwest chicken salad always spicy? With spicy grilled chicken? I used to eat this one all the time but then got on a Cobb salad kick and just had it again this past weekend. I swear it wasn’t spicy southwest before?! It was definitely unexpected and too hot for this heat wuss.

Yes, the southwest salad always uses spicy grilled chicken as the standard. Some days are spicier than others, but I really prefer spice.

So ask for freshly fried nuggets or strips on your salad. They'll do it. You will just have to pull up and wait while they drop fresh nuggets for you.

This. I do iti every time....that cold chicken doesn't taste as good as the hot nuggets. Gets the blue cheese kind of gooey and melty too. yum.

The power of suggestion. I had to go get one for lunch. So good!

I am completely addicted to their Cobb salad. Honey mustard dressing. Ahhh....

Just say no to chik fil a, which is owned by disgusting homophobes.

I will have to try that. What I usually do is get the regular garden salad and then chicken tenders. I slice those up (like slicing a banana) and then use that avocado lime dressing. Delicious! I love, love, love that avocado lime dressing.
