You got a stress fracture from 1 run in the rain?

I love running in the rain. Hopefully you will, too! Just make sure your shoes have a good tread so you don't slip. In this hot weather I don't wear anything different just a hat so raindrops don't get in my eyes. It is my favorite way to run.

Running in the pouring rain is the best way to run in summer! It's cathartic, plus there aren't many other people around.

You definitely need some days off, and I would recommend varying your runs as well. I'd make one of your runs a short one with some bursts of speed. And I'd make one of your runs a longer, slower one. Start at 6 miles. I'd take two days off per week.

That said, running in the rain can be nice. I don't run in heavy rain, but in a light rain, I'd opt for a fast 3-miler. Ordinary tech fabrics. Enjoy!
