| I use Zelle and it’s been great. It’s directly integrated in my banking app and super easy to use. I bank w Capital One |

I use paypal a lot.
I have sold clothing on fb and use paypal for that. As the seller I pay a fee, the buyer does not. You can send money to a friend and there is no fee. |
| I've heard that if you request someone to pay you for something - say you're selling something through Craig's List - that they can pay you through Venmo, it looks like it's in your account, then they take the object they're buying, and then cancel the payment to Venmo - whereas Paypal only tells you the money is in your account if it can no longer be cancelled. |
I have tdbank and my college kids have bank of america, we use Zelle to send the kids money. |
I have never pre-loaded money into my Venmo account ever. It also never prompted me too, maybe you didn't link a bank account? |
+1 I actually used a credit card to pay the first time I used Venmo. Didn't preload money. |
Me either. It's just like a paypal, except a tiny bit faster with less steps to "send". Which is why people like it. |
+1 Zelle is the easiest if both parties use a bank that participates. |
