Paris hotel room w/ 2 adults and 2 young kids

Use Kid and Coe. It’s like air bnb for families. Had great experience with them in Paris. Much, much more comfortable and convenient than hotel.

It’s been two decades since I lived in Paris and would recommend Les Halles as a safe place for tourists. I remember lots of trouble makers from the suburbs hanging around. Sounds like things have improved?

Booking.com does a good job searching for family hotels that will take a larger group. We stayed at the Pullman Hotel next to the Eifel Tower with a larger group during the Euro 2016 tournament. Was pretty big sized and had a breakfast buffet so worked well for us.

Thanks to a tip on this forum we just returned from Paris and stayed at the Hotel Amphere. Great hotel and only 2 minutes to the Metro stop. We loved everything about this place and would return in a second. Although it was only the two of us, we did see various families so it's worth looking into.

The area has changed since you been there. The Les Halles area went through a massive revitalization project. This site has pictures and updates about the revitalization process over the years. http://www.parisleshalles.fr/00371 I like the area because it is within walking distance to the majority of things that tourists want to see in Paris. So, there is no need to worry about traveling from a distance every morning and evening. The only time I took the metro was to go to the Effiel Tower. Everything else I was able to walk to. They also built a Nelson Mandela Park nearby. There is an awesome playground there for children. They made the area more family friendly compared to the past. I felt safe walking around there at night. Years ago I would have not. Also, is has lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops to choose from.

Best Western affiliated hotels in Europe tend to offer American family-style rooms. Your problem may be that there are limited true family rooms available and may be booked....

For heaven's sake, go on Expedia and type in two adults and two kids and their ages and that you want one room. Dozens of options. Pick one.
