My Bosch cleans on the regular/auto cycle in 2:09 and dishes are beautifully clean every time. 900 series, it’s about a year and a half old. |
Who cares? I have a DW with a 30min speed cycle and only clean using that. Why wait? |
Been happy with this one so far but only had it 6 months.

I believe the longer cycles use less water. We run a load after dinner. |
+1. Look in your manual. For ours, the short cycle uses twice as much water, something like 9 gallons compared to 4 gallons. I only use the short cycle if I really need something to be cleaned quickly. |
This! We have a Bosch and I run it on the quick cycle, air dry, and it’s wonderful. No bells, no whistles, just does its job and does it well. Was cheap, too! Had a repair person at our home for a warranty reapair on our fridge, and he commented how our cheap dishwasher is a trusted workhorse. |
Our Bosch quick cycle uses 3gal, I referenced the manual on this in the past. |
Look at Miele. It’s the best for reliability. |
