ASA 2010 boys Travel - why so few?

search "cash cow" and read some of the posts in last years tryouts forums. crazy stuff compared to this year. asa depends on a certain # of teams to justify the TDs, DOC, etc.
they need the high # of teams at the base of the pyramid. there is a whole plan behind it., etc.,etc.

Yup, they are holding another try out session for 2010 boys. Not enough; need 6-10 more.
I wonder what adp will be like for 2010. May be hard to make this year with so few going travel.

+1 At that age half the kids are running in the wrong direction. I think it's a great and fun way for everyone to get exercise and learn about working as a team but it's not soccer.
