| Bodybuilder and pt personal trainer here, I would try doing HIIT to get to your preferred weight and then work in some isolation exercises for those stubborn areas. With your soccer background you should know your body well and what kind of exercises you respond best to. Mix in plyometrics and weightlifting with little rest period. Working out 3 or 4x a week is ideal, you body type/genes is much easier to change than it is for someone who is an ectomorph that wants to build muscle. Good luck! |
| I vote for yoga. I have short, muscular legs, and although I LOVE running, yoga definitely helps me achieve a longer, leaner look. |
| Barre totally changed my leg shape. Took about 2-3 months of classes 4-5x a week to see a difference but made a huge change in making them leaner (as well as improving strength and flexibility). |
