| Same income. House was 625K, mortgage is 420k, no kids or other debt. Our property taxes are high though, about 12k. I live in a state with no income tax but high property taxes, so our PITI is right around 3100/month. |

| We bought $640k on about that income, 6 years ago. Our income is higher now, but we were fine at that level on that income. If I loved the house, I'd potentially go as high as ~$750k on that income, but I wouldn't go higher than that. |
