The rule is that if you have 60 days or less before the end of the year, your child can stay. If it's more than 60 days, then your child needs to move. It's possible you can get the principal to relax the rule if you have good reason (i.e. special needs, child care, etc.). But, expect that the rule will apply and make your decisions accordingly.

If you want to stay in Greenbriar, target houses that aren’t on the market. A realtor can make that process easier but you can do it yourself too.

We are at the intersection of 20151 and 20171 and really like it. Lee’s Corner or Oak Hill/ Franklin (Carson AAP)/ Chantilly. Great schools, and nice, down to earth people. Franklin Farms, Franklin Glen, Armfield Farm area. Also great schools. But very hard to buy in. You really need to watch for things to come on the market and move fast.

If you are on the neighborhood Facebook page, you could ask on the page about houses coming on the market and connect to the neighborhood realtors (like Joe - he knows EVERYTHING!)
