Is there a preschool in N. VA area whose program emphasizes kindness, healing and helping others?

All centers dont teach sharing, waiting your turn. They just care about academics. You gotta talk to the provider or director and ask him her questions.. best luck

Check out Beverly Hills Church Preschool in the Del Ray area of Alexandria - very loving and nurturing tone, strong focus on kindness and valuing others.

Agreed though - things need to start at home.

Your child can spend 10 hours a day in a warm loving environment and 2 at home in chaos and tension...and all the kindness in the world can’t undo the damage. You need to fix this now, before it’s too late. His home environment is shaping who he will become, how he will relate to others, how his marriage will work, and how he will feel about himself. It sounds like you know it’s bad, but do you realize the damage that is already done at this young age. Please. Do something.

Columbia Baptist CDC is Reggio inspired and they emphasize collaboration and team work among kids and Christian values of kindness, helping, charity.

I think most preschools teach kindness and sharing though.

I see him beginning to express certain behaviors as a result of this. Can anyone recommend a reputable preschool whose programs focus primarily on emphasizing kindness to one other, respect, encouragement, positivity, building each other up and also has a vision of Tikkun Olam (“healing the world”)
Basically, I’m looking for him to learn that just being a good and loving individual should come before anything else —-

Are you in trouble?

A "healing" preschool should not even be in your thoughts, OP. And if it is, your preschooler is in the wrong environment. Give him a fighting chance to get a few years under his belt before he has to "heal" from anything else!!!
