FWIW some of the top engineering programs with higher percentages of women tend to have higher percentages of lesbians (Carnegie Mellon for example). I would encourage your daughter to go with her gut and select the school and program she feels most comfortable with. I love that millenials are so much more comfortable with themselves and their diverse peers than older generations are typically.
