No kidding. I’m gossipy as all hell and have never heard such rumors. |
| Yup, there is no way IRS is touching telework. We have a great union. |
| Also curious what new telework agreement is for IRS. Anyone know? |
I have heard they want people to actually use NCFB. There is never anyone there. |
Not sure if it’s different for IRS. Counsel can do two days a week from home on project based work. There is an alternate program for three days that doesn’t require manager approval. You lose your private office. And for both programs, if the gov is closed, you’re expected to work unless there is something preventing it that also closed closure, for example loss of power due to a storm. You have to work snow days or use leave. |
Technically it' 4 months but it's up to the manager. |
After 1 year - you can do 2 days per week (project based, get approval) or just pick two days you always telework. After 4 years - 3 days per week, either project or flexible. You don't automatically lose your office, but you could if there are space constraints. |
Why do certain groups follow the allowed four days a week of telework and other groups only allow 2-3 days? |
