Did the garage tell you it wasn't safe to drive, or just tell you you need to replace your brakes before you can pass inspection?
I've driven with a failed inspection for a couple of days. The car failed for multiple reasons, and one they said I needed to fix right away. The others waited until the weekend. |
I understand. |
Fascinating and I wish I'd known this when my car failed inspection last year. I assumed I had to go straight to the repair shop, do not pass go. I failed last year for brakes, I think. This year I need a headlight replaced before it'll pass inspection (which expires at the end of this month). I keep thinking about a new car and hate to put the money into my current car but I'm not sure I see myself buying a new car in the next 3 weeks so will probably suck it up and pay for the new headlight. Ugh. F. The operator of the rejected vehicle shall be informed of the following: 1. The rejection sticker is valid for 15 days in addition to the date of inspection. 2.
