It's sadly true. Women are jealous and threatened by attractive women, even if they are not taking anything from them, they have the need to take them down.

I'm attractive. I don't worry about things like this - anymore. When I was insecure I used to think people hated on me for my attractiveness. Now I just do my job and enjoy my life. I have wonderful, loyal, beautiful friends. It is not that serious, and life is too short to trip about stupid sh** like this. If anyone will mistreat you for your beauty, that is squarely their dysfunction.

It's easy to say that you don't care about being the target of mean girls, but it hurts. I think they think it's fair, to even life's playing field. In reality, I have felt bullied my whole adult life by women. Because of that I go out of my way to be kind to people, but I have become guarded with women.

I am saying this genuinely and with zero animosity, but this absolutely is an issue with YOU and not with the world at large. You are the problem here.

You don't know the circumstances of OPs life, so it's not absolutely anything. Maybe she has issues, and maybe the people around her have issues. Maybe they all have issues. Point being, if issues are involved, then OP isn't necessarily the one who has them.
