Graduating from college a year early

OP, I don't know what your DS's college or university offers, but a friend of my DC's at UVA entered with 65 college credits so could technically graduate a year early. After exploring the 3/2 programs UVA offered, he ended up selecting and already (second year) being accepted to one of the professional schools for a master's degree. He will graduate in 3 years and go thru the ceremony but will also then graduate again in 2 with the MBA. A lot of schools now offer these 3/2 programs if they are a university and have professional schools. Some small LACs offer programs in conjunction with another school that offers something that the LAC doesn't, like computer science or engineering. It's worth a look
