Response Time for Teacher Follow Up

Former teacher, you did not answer the question. OP has been waiting 72 hours from the time the teacher wrote back to say she got it and would respond later-you say that 24 hours should have been sufficient. So, what's Plan B? What you provided instead was a list of your top annoying email communications from parents.

yeah, former teacher -- all those comments seem legitimate to me. esp if we are talking about a teacher of early elementary children. I'd write a note for them, why not an email?

Why don't you call the school and leave a message with the secretary? Just tell the secretary that you would like your child's teacher to give you a call after school. Also, if you were sending e-mails to the teacher asking her to observe your child for certain behaviors, perhaps the teacher isn't seeing anything that concerns her. If the teacher was concerned about something, I would think she would be in touch with you sooner rather than later.
