Great daycare in Old Town Alexandria -- Great Beginnings Early Learning Center

Our son has been at St. Anthonys since he was 18 months and he's now going into 4B in the Fall. I can't imagine him anywhere else, and I will miss that school very much once he's in kindergarten, although he'll still go to school with some of his classmates (friends). There is a huge parent involvement, and we just had our annual Silent Auction, which I co-chaired, and other great events throughout the year. It's a Christian based school, but still celebrates Halloween with a parade and party - children love Halloween!

The waitlist is soooooo long, but it's worth the wait. We did have a nanny, and once SADS called, and yes, they gave us only minutes to decide, we took the spot. Honestly, I haven't heard parents complain about the school per se, just when a teacher quits and the parents feel it may distrupt the class.
