Any success stories for losing the mom tummy?

Work out. Lots of abs. If you gained more weight than needed, you'll have to lose that first and yoga, abs, etc.

Everyone says the gluten/dairy thing is a lie. Thoughts?

I don't know about dairy, but for me, it's definitely gluten or whatever is in almost every bread or pretzel. Eating too much bread, specially white bread gives me extra half of inch of belly fat within weeks. It also gives me a stomach ache- like something is scraping the walls of my stomach. I have very hard time digesting bread.
I grew up eating potatoes, white/black bread and lots of dairy. I outran my girlfriends and the portions we all ate were similar. Nobody got extra and there was no snacking. Even my first bananas at age 13 gave me stomach aches. I just digest some things differently. I don't have any know health problems, just keep away from bread and also sugar.
I always had skinny legs and arms, but my stomach was never flat. I truly believe all the bread (or whatever the put in it) and starch become my belly fat.
Tried almond milk with my coffee, but didn't see any difference. Went back to milk, but that's no too much milk a day.

How often do you go? Do you supplement with other excercise?

I go 2-3 times/week, supplemented with running (sometimes pushing our double jogger) and swimming. I try to walk as much as possible, too.

As for diet, I eat a lot less starchy carbs than I used to, but still have them with dinner. Don't eat too much sugar, aside from chocolate and wine on the weekends. But I eat my fair share of dairy and gluten!

Go into severe depression after Trump is elected and stop eating anything except vegetables and drinking water.

After a month or so, start eating fish again all the while working feverishly at the grass roots level to win back the US Congress.

Start Tae Kwon Do and hit the body bag hard 90 minutes every other day.

Only eat vegetables and fish and drink water during the entire first year of his "administration".

Emerge thin, strong, un-depressed and ready for a street fight.

I call it: "the Resistance Diet."

I am over 50 and I lost 25 pounds and gained smooth, lean, non-bulky muscles: no more side boob!

Husband is happy, children are happy, and I am happy.

10/10 would recommend.

My friend is a personal trainer and specializes in rehabbing women with diastasis recti...she loves the Mutu system. There was also an article on npr a while ago about a breathing method that supposedly can get those muscles to contract back into place:

Probably depends on your particular digestion. I don't have any kind of gluten sensitivity, but I definitely plump up when I go hard on the carbs. Dairy, on the other hand, I can have tons of with no waistline consequences.

Thanks. OP here. I signed up for the MUTU system and will be using that in place of my core work.

OK then...And what medication are you on?

Did you have three c-sections? Just curious.

Planks, followed by push-ups. Repeat several times.

Limit carbs. Do not eat after 7:30 p.m.

No-all three were vaginal deliveries.

This five-minute plank worked for me.

But I also cut sugar and reduced my carbs to leafy greens. No bread, pasta, rice.

Most people become lactose sensitive (not necessarily full blown intolerant) as they age. I quit dairy for 3 months, lost about 7 pounds without changing anything else, my skin glowed and tone evened out, I slept better, and I have an 8 pack. I have lift 6 days a week for 10 years and that’s what did it.

For those with diastasis recti (DR), planks that are not done correctly (engaging the TVA and pelvic floor muscles) can actually make DR worse. Proceed with caution.
