Is the Monday after Easter a religious day/holiday?

Yes. In many countries. But not here...

Easter Monday is an official government holiday (everything stays closed, no school, no work, no shopping...) in many European countries.

Happily, this isn't Europe. Or maybe unhappily because Trump isn't president of any European nations.

Pretty sure they're just trying to cram in a bunch of school days.

But in Europe they are white, so we must do something different here to honor the black and the trans and to f#ck everyone else.

(Including Hispanics, btw, as they are primarily Catholic)

Kind of tongue in cheek.

The PP suggested schools are closed because of a separation of church and state.

Schools should be closed recognizing a significant portion of their students will be traveling that weekend. In many cultures it is more important than Christmas. Also, we should stop celebrating the 4th of July because it might offend immigrants.

Got it

Let's start a petition to make Christmas a work day.

That will teach them.

Above all, 4th of July should offend Native Americans and blacks.

I call for celebrating Lunar New Year instead.
