Anyone work at Pew?

Pay is good.

They squeeze you then push you out. Culture is toxic.

It’s great for people with kids. I would say culture is very team dependent. It’s much less buttoned up than it used to be. No jeans, but I don’t wear a blazer to work. And my desk is pretty messy.

If you find a good team, it’s worth the move. Also, the retirement benefits blow my mind. My financial planner couldn’t believe it.

On Glassdoor, people report that they put in 12% if you put in 6%.

Exactly. There's also a $500 wellness benefit that you can spend on massages, gym classes, etc. The benefits really are nice.

I work at an NGO and have interacted with a number of people in a specific program area at Pew. I don't doubt that the toxic culture rumors/statements are true. I don't have any personal knowledge of the benefits, but I do know several people who left because they were not making good money and they were not being promoted despite their supervisors' recommendations. I wouldn't go there.
