Does PE count on your GPA calculation?

FCPS does not rank, but colleges take the student’s transcript and do recalculate and rank. Do not be fooled. Top 10 percent only has a chance to get into UVA. Your student needs to decide if electives are worth their time. Do they enjoy them?

This! And yes. It shows up it a GPA. Health and Drivers Ed are also included in the grade. Various colleges might recalculate, take it out, whatever. But your official, FCPS GPA includes PE.

My kid gets an A in AP Physics but a B in PE. Such is life.
