Getting DD to do her homework!

| Tell her no screens or playing when she whines and complains and stick to it. Homework comes first. You are in charge here. |

| This is what worked for us: homework after dinner but before dessert. DD likes having a chance to unwind after school and we eat an early dinner which is an easier and less arbitrary boundary for time. Plus she knows that if she fiddles around too much then she will run out of time for dessert because it will be pajamas & brushing teeth time. |
