east coast skiing - I'm doing it wrong

Blue Mountain isn't quite as resorty as Wisp or Seven Springs but has good runs and is in a slightly more snowy/cold location. About the same drive from DMV as Wisp.

There's also usually better snow in the Catskill areas, 6 hours or so away from DMV. Hunter Mountain, Wyndham, Plattekill, BellAyre.

I agree with what was said about Blue Mountain above but would warn that crowds can be bad I think because it attracts more fron Philly than Wisp does.
