Exactly. This is a SPIN OFF thread. About inappropriate relationships. |

Girls' desire and ability to date older guys at the time when a lot of my views about sexuality and gender were forming created a huge blind spot for me in terms of thinking about gender, privilege, and power.
In high school, and to a certain extent in college, it seemed to me that girls/women had all the power. Early on girls/women had a much bigger pool of guys they could reasonably expect to date versus the girls/women available to a teenage boy/young man. |
As the father of a (grown) daughter who has been groped in bars, and as the husband of a woman who was once raped, I find the concern of mothers about their sons to be a tad misplaced. The boy old enough to go work in the mines back in the day gets shown the ropes? Lucky guy. |
I am a 43 year old man, I think its gross. Any 27 yo guy dating a high school girl most likely couldn't find someone his own age |
Half your age plus seven holds up remarkably well. A 27 year old shouldn't be dating anyone under 20. |
| Is the thread about dating or having sex with high school girls? When I was in college I had sex with girls in high school as well as girls in college. I definitely wouldn't call it dating and I never pretended otherwise. At that age I had no interest at all in a committed relationship and it was entirely based on how physically attractive the person was and how easy it would be to get them to have sex with me. |
Why not find someone your own age to use? |
I wrote in my post that I also had sex with girls in college as well who were my age. |
You are an ass. Seriously think back to when you were 16. Would you sleep with your mother’s friend? I have been in a situation like that it’s not fun. They are not showing you the ropes. I have also been groped in bars by women, had a woman break into my room and jump in bed when I am sleeping(had a girlfriend at the time), been stalked, etc. These things would happen to my friend and me a lot. People like you would always laugh it off. You are part of the problem. How you do not have a kid. |
