Great service for moms-to-be

Gosh you really don't see the difference? It would be like me coming onto the board and telling everyone to use my sister, who is an OB. She's clearly trying to drum up business for a friend. Totally, totally different then me saying I love my OB (who is not a friend or family member) for x, y, z reasons.

That's funny, how do you know that whoever is on here raving about an OB is not a friend, family member, or the OB themself? We really have no idea. We have to take the OP at face value, since we really don't have any other info to go on. There are threads all over the place on DCUM which include recommendations and rave reviews of birth and baby-related services.

The Baby Bargains book rocks! The authors also wrote Bridal Bargains, which saved us a lot of money on our wedding. Highly recommend anything by those authors.

The Baby Bargains book is excellent and they have a forum which is very active and full of helpful information.

The book is also a better bargain....

I hated that Baby Bargains book! I spent hours pouring over it, highlighted and folded down pages, took it with me to buybuybaby...spent another couple of hours trying to find at the store what they were recommending...what a waste of time! half the stuff I got from that 'great book' i was unhappy with. I would have totally spent the money on this kind of service just to save the time and frustration, if it was around a year ago when I needed it.
