I thought long and hard about ITS using the metro and ultimately turned down a K spot. But it's worth thinking about and at least doing the walk from Rhode Island Metro to see if it might work for you. Great school!

Also the KIPPs.

Finally, I am skeptical about Rocketship due to the overreliance on technology, but I think it's definitely worth exploring that option. Maybe it's better than it seems!

OP says they drive and DON"T use metro.

Yeah, we don't metro. My spouse parks at the Navy Yard for work. We can do drop off on the way or park and walk if it's Van Ness.

I appreciate everyone's help! I'm looking up more information on all of the schools mentioned. I was just really curious what others would do/do.

Yes, I know. Everything I listed is in theory metro accessible from Anacostia (not knowing OP's actual address). ITS could be metro accessible from the Red Line for someone who didn't have to rush to get into the office (OP says she works from home) and doesn't mind the walk from Rhode Island Metro. I decided personally that walk was a bit too long through an iffy neighborhood plus having to then get to work, but OP might decide differently if it's her best option.
