Yes! Totally addictive.

Question about portion sizes. Their catering menu includes an option for 6 people or 12 people. I'm having six adults and 6 kids (some of whom are not great eaters). Portion wise can I get away with the six-person serving?

No it is a small half pan. 2 would fill a regular lasagna pan or pyrex.

This is helpful. Do you mean a 9x11 pyrex?

Love Vace as well. If you ask, they give you an honest estimate. Last week I bought Cannellonies for five people. They told me two small trays were enough. I was not sure so I bought three, but they were right. The third one was not needed ( I used it later in the week).

I do not like Vace’s lasagna. It is made very high/dense and small, which means it takes for-ever to cook and it looks very puny on the serving table (although it does serve rhe amount they recommend since it is so thick and high you only need to cut a small piece to get a full serving). Also often it accumulates water on the top when I cook it.

In the frozen food section at Safeway. They have meat and cheese lasagna, just cheese, vegetarian, and Mexican lasagna, which is kind of weird but tasty.

Really? You can buy ground veal, pork and beef, ricotta, motzarella, Parmesan, noodles, fresh basil and good canned tomatoes all for under $8?

Please tell me where to find your magical grocery store.

Locally Vace is really good! But I recently got the trader joes version and my picky husband really liked it!
