Is it possible in DC area to renew child's US passport on a weekend?

A couple of the libraries in City of Alexandria have Saturday and Sunday hours.

I would just pay an agency to do it; not even that expensive. I use a place in Arlington call Atlas.

+1. It's the big library on Duke St, about two minutes off 395. We were in and out pretty quickly.

At least one of the post offices in Arlington can do it with a Saturday appointment. We went to Westover. Not a bad drive from DC, but IIRC they book up far in advance.

This is what I did. They have a form your husband can sign with a notary. You can find a notary on the weekend or at some banks.

+1. We did this. Much easier than 2 parents having to show up.

Same. I took my kids alone on a weekday.

I also need to renew my kids passports and need Saturday hours. I went to the USPS scheduler, as recommended by State Dept, and found several locations available on Saturdays.

I easily made an appointment in Arlington on 10 February. They also had availability on 3 February but we are away. There were several locations available 3 weeks out.
