If I think of this questions as "which cities could I see most everything I really wanted to see in a weekend" (vs. a city that I would want to leave until I could stay longer), I'd say:

We just got back from Vienna. We rented a very nice, very inexpensive Airbnb right in the city center (there were four of us and we had a two bedroom apt.) Everything is walkable or easy tram. Amazing museums, palaces, music, shopping, cafes. We loved it.

Try to do some of the time change before you leave-eg get up two hours earlier than normal fo the week prior. It will help on such a short trip.
