I homeschooled my son for three years to get him over a hump (he has ADHD and dyslexia), and with the schedule we worked out for him (my mother also helped, since she has a degree in education), I could have worked from home after he was finished with his work for the day. It is doable if you stick to a schedule. When I transferred him back to public, he was doing so well that they let him skip a grade, the transition was easy, we redid his IEP, and he's doing amazingly well. He worked hard and so did we to make sure that he didn't fall through the cracks, which is what was happening before I pulled him out. Good luck!
