Is St. Mary's college of MD going downhill?

What type of stats do you need for this amount of reduction?

I am now the third parent whose child received the same reduction. Must be their MO. My child is bright but no rock star (3.7 GPA from a good public school, 1220 SAT).

Our DC has a slightly higher SAT score but a slightly lower GPA than #3.

(3.5 unweighted 4.2 weighted/1380 SAT)

From #3, that GPA was unweighted. Weighted was 4.2

For those of you with kids at St Mary's. How do they get home to see you? Is there some kind of shuttle or do they drive / carpool?

My kid has always carpooled. I think there is an airport shuttle too.
