I'm a woman and and have 2 brothers and my mom would mix our names up, so I don't think the names being too close in sound is an issue. |
Totally agree. |
Too similar.
"Owen and Noah" becomes "owennenoah" too easily |
I hate the name Owen. Owens are always misbehaving, messy, have snot running from their noses, etc. |
I don't hunk they are too similar, but I think of Noah as a Jewish name and Owen as a not Jewish name, if that matters. |
I like both names and I don't think they're too similar. |
I like them both. They sound good together! |
Too similar.
Plus, Noah is a cool name, and Owen is pretty lame. How about some of these? Alec Joshua (Josh) Thomas Paul Tristan Sam |
I like both names and think they go well together. I have 2 daughters with similar sounding names and before the second was born, I worried that they were too similar. But now I couldn't imagine the youngest named anything else. If you really like both names, go for it!
Also FWIW my siblings and I had very different sounding first names - and my mom would still mix/merge them when calling for us. I wouldn't worry about that too much. |
Sooo trendy. |
