CFA does it right before the actual transfer. First they use an empty catheter, and then they load the embryos.
I have a slightly tilted uterus, which my RE knew, but it wasn't enough of an issue to prevent the transfer. I would think that could be determined by the HCG or saline sono, but I'm not sure. |
| My clinic did not do a mock, which I was fine with. I did have to have dilation during my first IUI (unexpectedly), but it did help and I never had to dilate again for subsequent IUIs or IVF cycles. |
