How? |
3 years, with a thyroid problem. |
This is the PP who posted this. It's not rocket science. I worked out with fun workouts 6 days a week and I ate smart/tracked calories. For instance, if I wanted Thai food for dinner I'd ordered what I wanted and asked for "low oil and salt" and a box right as my meal came. I'd take at least 1/3 home for lunch the next day. I learned to enjoy fresh fruits and veggies and also measured out most of my food (I.e. 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of a low sugar granola and 1/2 cup of berries) when I was making my meals. A small food scale helped. Like 6oz of chicken breast is a good helping. I tried not to eat a lot of sweets and a ton of carbs but I definitely did indulge. I kept it off easily for 3 years before I got pregnant and just blew up. I gained 68lbs, but lost all of that (except for 3lbs- grr) in 7 months (about 25 was baby/fluid though). |
How old are you? I used to say this (it's not rocket science) when all the women 40-45+ years at work couldn't believe how much weight I could lose. Internally I always thought, "dug- eat better and less." Now I get it. |
