My 7 year Old Suspended for four Days MCPS

He was throwing rocks at a student and kicked a para educator. He should be punished for both.

Find it interesting that you dont equate paraeducator with educator (as in, if he kicked the teacher, there’d Be repercussions).

Agree the punishment is harsh, ur is this for throwing rocks at student and kicking teacher?

I would have him working hard for the four days that he is suspended, so that he doesn't think that it is a vacation. That would be my first step. I would report the mocking, because obviously it was a trigger. I would make sure that he also knows that his behavior was unacceptable, and that you are not ok with it. And yes, I have a child who used to have behavioral issues when he was in early elementary. He's now in 6th, and is well-liked by the students and the teachers. We've worked hard with him over the years. He has severe ADHD. The older he gets, the easier he is to work with. He is not medicated.
