Would you fly to Santa Barbara tomorrow with the fires?

I'm living in LA and from there and my mom is in evacuation now. I was there last Saturday and people were in face masks. There is NO WAY I would subject a baby to the air quality.
I can't even get up to my mom because the freeway is closed. The LA Times online this morning was going on about how it's 30% contained and under control, even as my mom was calling me telling me it was coming toward her apartment and all were evacuating.
My point is the news sources are not timely.

For good news source, look at keyt.com the local station, and go to the live coverage. The situation can change immediately as it did this morning when the winds change. I say NO.

It's fine. In some of the west valley areas it's smoggy, but otherwise ok. The smoke is going north and west out to see so not affecting LA.

I am in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills - about 6 miles from Santa Monica) right now and it is perfect. Flew in thru LAX on Thursday. Everything here is back to normal.
