| We got a reverse osmosis filter installed after the ewg report about chromium 6. Don’t know if it helped but figured we’d also want it for the baby! |
+1 |
| literally millions get pregnant without following any much less all of the book's advice. |

I didn’t read the book. I also focused on reducing stress and converted to an anti inflammatory diet to the best extent that I could. I also did acupuncture. I’m not a full believer in acupuncture, but the sessions allowed me to meditate and relax, if nothing else.

Seriously. We are grasping at straws here when we think that changing this or that will be the magic bullet. I used to work at center for addiction and pregnancy in inner-city Baltimore. We had hundreds of completely under-nourished women subsisting on Cheetos and heroin for YEARS who were on baby 9, 10, 11+ I was healthy and fit and eating well and needed multiple rounds of IVF with no diagnosis (all testing good). |

Except this group is not the millions who easily get pregnant. |
right. but the cause of that is clearly not the use of plastic containers, as those millions use those containers, too. it's something else - namely, unique personal biology (e.g. PCOS, DOR etc etc etc). |
| I love this book but as far as lifestyle changes, I only really recommend that people read the section on ubiquinol and start taking it STAT! |
People said the same thing about smoking and cancer back in the day because only a fraction of people who smoked got cancer there couldn’t be a link. |
yes plastic containers are just like cigarettes. in fact every random fad is just like tobacco. you win. please don't ever use plastic containers again. |
i also don't think these things better. But I think people want to feel like they are doing something and it gives them hope. |
