It is still due on 4/15 extension or not. And yes you estimate and hope you do not under estimate because you will pay penalties on any unpaid amount. They have lost revenue because they are losing high earners. They need to stop spending so much money.

One group that doesn't cost much in services is high [er] income retirees. Do they stay or do they go?

All lower: DC, DE, VA, PA. Perhaps some of the over estimation was move-outs.

Not perhaps, just true. The social experiment that is Montgomery county will have to find someone else to pay fir their freebies. That property tax increase last year made us move. Enough was enough.

+1 this is our consideration as soon as youngest child done with Univ of MD. DE, VA and PA all better for retirees
