| So how is the recipe? Has anyone tried it? |
I know. Who cares. These folks are militant. Ina’s Army. |
| I find her recipes to be pretty bland. I guess it’s just a pallet thing. I would love to try her most amazing recipe. Can someone suggest one? Not engagement chicken. Ha ha |

Yep. Ina is really funny in person. Same with her husband. This is totally an Ina type of joke. |
| She always seems pretty self-congratulatory. I can’t stand watching her, but I do like most of her recipes! |
If you think liking her (or at least her recipes) means you're a sheep, you don't understand. |
I don’t. What is so great. Name the recipes. |
| She's very round. |
| I love Ina. She is fabulous and so is Jeffrey. |
Never trust a skinny cook. Her recipes are good. |
Does alot go over your head? Or just this? |
|
I have several of her cookbooks.
Her recipes are excellent because they are tasty, very reliable and relatively easy to make. The fare is family friendly and I think of it as high quality everyday cooking. If you want ambitious or bold recipes you won’t find them in her books as she’s no Ottolenghi. But if you want relatively simple yet well prepared and tasty food for everyday cooking you cannot do better than her. I find her online personality a bit stiff but then I remind myself if I were on TV I’d be even worse! |
+1. The Make a Wish thing is true though. Twice. I hold that against her. |
