Sometimes I wonder why I even comment on this board or ask questions. You all take the time that make smart comments instead of answering a simple question. When in reality, your child is probably in public school anyway. Go sit down!

NP. The PP is correct. What is right for one family has no bearing on another family. The PP is asking you to think about important considerations to help you make the best decision for your family. This post is much more helpful than telling you what s/he did for their family.

NP - but how was that helpful? Why not just list a few reasons why they chose private school? Why make a snide comment to someone obviously struggling with this? Why not just leave out the "the reasons I chose private school don't matter" part - the rest was good advice.

Thank you. Exactly my thoughts!

I think we have a few parochial schools that are very good, at least on the spectrum of parish and parochial educational options. Yet clsss sizes at most of those are still a bit too large for my liking. If you’re willing to go outside of the county, depending upon where you live, there are several better options.

Outside of PG County, can you recommended good options for me to look into and investigate that wouldn’t be too bad of a commute? I’m not asking to recommend based on my child needs. I dechipher thatone I visit the schools. Sorry if I said that but it’s mea people on this board that you can’t ask certain questions

There is a Private School forum on this site that has the names of a lot of the schools in the area that you can look into. There were also numerous private school fairs in the early fall. The best thing to do now is go visit schools that interest you. You have to do the research and legwork and find the best match.
