I'm not working right now, but when I am I'm pretty good about bringing my lunch. What works for me is making it part of my routine (so I really don't think about it - I just do it) and also, sadly, that it's really boring and easy/quick to make. It's pretty much a PB&J every day with some baked chips and a diet soda. It takes about three minutes to make. My mental motivation is that it helps me with weight control because I'm not buying out every day (where I'm likely to consume more calories) and also saving money. This strategy, however, does not work with DH who buys his lunch every day...

Me three. On the rare occasion I'm with it enough to bring lunch, this is the only way it works for me. |
