how would you style this seafoam green couch?

I LOVE that color, OP!

I looooove the sea foam, if you love it don't let the haters stop you!

We have a muted version of this color for our couch. I really like it. Our house came with gold colored window treatments, and we also have some gray painted furniture. Very similar to the colors in the photo. It works for us.

Thanks everyone. I'm so confused now!!!! I wish there was someone who could make this decision for me. . . Do I get a decorator?

Thanks. I do like the style of these couches and Macy's has good discounts. Which color do you prefer? https://www.macys.com/shop/product/nari-tufted-back-loveseat-with-2-toss-pillows-custom-colors-created-for-macys?ID=4473379 Here are the custom options.

Sorry for the slow response, looks like you got plenty of others though.

I like Ashen, SMokey, Urban, or Mellow. You can make them pop nicely with a bolder pillow, and worry less about being dated.

By the way, if you like mid century looks, get a nice Noguchi Coffee table--it will look great with that couch.

Isami Noguchi. The originals sell for around $1500, but you can get great reproductions for around $350 if you look around on Houzz

And one last thing... check out allmodern.com for great mid century accent pieces, lamps, etc. They have a lot of sales, too.

Any other questions?

OP I love the color and depending on your overall aesthetic it could work beautifully. I do decor consults and would be happy to spend some complimentary time with you via email if you'd like. Let me know and I'll post my info.

+1 on these colors. However the green option for the Macys couch is more olive than the sea foam living room you posted which makes it look more mid century.

Thanks everyone. I've rethought the seafoam green color and decided against it.

BUT, the stock fabric in this couch is either the seafoam or a cream color. It's called Organic: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/nari-tufted-back-sofa-with-2-toss-pillows-created-for-macys?ID=4521615&CategoryID=29391&tdp=cm_app~zMCOM-NAVAPP~xcm_zone~zPDP_ZONE_A~xcm_choiceId~zcidM05MAS-00b113c4-c0a1-4dec-bed2-e3e5cb2da3cc%40H7%40customers%2Balso%2Bshopped%2429391%244521615~xcm_pos~zPos2

and it's on sale for $629 vs. one of the gray fabrics which are custom and on sale for $795.

Is it worth it to get a gray for $170 more? Or is the organic color fine if I'm going in neutrals. With Organic I can still get the funky leaf arm chair:https://www.macys.com/shop/product/nari-printed-accent-chair?ID=4473383&CategoryID=29391&tdp=cm_app~zMCOM-NAVAPP~xcm_zone~zPDP_ZONE_B~xcm_choiceId~zcidM06MAT-61f3ba01-a3aa-48b1-bc75-c34fb5d9d47e%40H8%40customers%2Balso%2Bloved%2429391%244473383~xcm_pos~zPos4

I'm back! I went with the Organic color, since it was cheaper and still neutral. Link here: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/nari-tufted-back-estate-sofa-with-2-toss-pillows-created-for-macys?ID=4521579&CategoryID=29391&swatchColor=Organic&cm_mmc=Pinterest-_-pdpshare-_-n-_-n

Now I need help to pick a rug. I'm describing my style as "mid century bohemian" and will have a mid-century chair, a leafy plant, and an oval white marble coffee table. I was thinking gold accents on end table and floor lamp.

Here are the few I have my eye on. Rugs USA is having a sale, which is why I focused there. I need an 8x10 rug and want to stay under $300.

Hi! I'm 09/26/2017 11:26, 16:35, 16:38.

I don't think most of those will work with your couch unless your monitor shows the colors differently than mine. The grey ones look different than the sofa color, and I think it's just going to look odd. I think your best bet is the Black from #2. The last one will work in terms of color, but I don't personally care for the carpet as much. I think the sofa will look best with a nice contrast rug to set it apart, the others are all too light but the tones of the grey and sofa are somehow off, if that makes sense?

Do you have a pic of the chair somewhere, or did I miss that?
Anonymous
Nevermind, I just found the chair. That's pretty busy, something else to consider for the rug. Not sure how that will look on the ones above. Maybe consider a natural fiber rug like sisal or seagrass? If not, definitely pick one that has a very minimal or muted pattern.
