PG County schools have utterly failed a bright but troubled kid

High Road Schools in general are more for LD and ED....not specific to dyslexia at all

If you aren't getting the services you need, call Maryland Disability Law Center www.mdlclaw.org they will serve as an educational advocate for you and get PG County to stop dragging their heels (which they are known to do.) I have worked with the law center on many cases, and found them to be helpful (I am a social worker.) If PG can't accomodate your child, then they are forced to place your child in a educational setting best suited for him (even if that means that they have to pay for it.)

Diana Savitz is a great attorney who works with PG families all the time (I'm quite sure she works on a sliding scale). She's in Bethesda.

What about Imagine Charter School? Isn't that in PG county?

I love Henson Valley Montessori which has smaller class sizes in the elementary grades...
