Who has better ice cream, Baskin Robbins or Coldstone Creamery?

Not that you asked for other recommendations, but Moorenko's in downtown silver spring on Georgia avenue is the best ice cream I've ever had in the DC area.

You are BOTH my soulmates. I discovered GMR when I worked at a BR as a teenager. It's still my favorite 30 years later.

Jamoca Almond Fudge.

I've only had CSC once, and after a couple of bites I lost interest. I thought maybe I just wasn't their target market, but my kids threw theirs out, too. So I don't know who does like it. Maybe the same people who are always touting Wegman's and CostCo's cakes?

Cold stone is over priced crap with a gimmick. BR is acceptable ice cream at reasonable prices.

But if you are looking for thick, creamy ice cream I do think Coldstone does it well. But you will have to pry clown cones from my cold, dead hands. They're the best!

+1 I love those damn clown cones. I remember them being such a treat in my youth. My kids are now enjoying them too.

i got my son a surprise clown cone birthday cake for his 7th birthday and he almost started convulsing with excitement.

Jamoca Almond Fudge is so good. I wish it didn't have caffeine though.

I've found my people! Why has GMR disappeared from grocery stores though? I used to be able to get it at Food Lion, Harris Teeter or Safeway but none are carrying it anymore. Hope it hasn't been discontinued.
