| All that matters is how her scores compare to others from her HS applying to the same schools. That said, the cost of a prep course will be a drop in the bucket compared to tuition. I wouldn't decide based on cost, not unless you thought she would waste the money, not working hard at the prep. You know what, I would ask her. Tell her you have no crystal ball, and do not know what will/will not make the difference. That's hard for young people to hear. It's really on her shoulders. She will have to accept the outcome that results from whatever strategy she decides to take.. |
